Performed a multi-hazard assessment for buildings and nonstructural equipment for electric, water, and natural gas utility systems in Shelby County, Tennessee.
Designed nonstructural supports for seismic and wind loads for the light rail transportation system in St. Louis, MO, as well as a hospital and mall.
Completed structural assessments in multiple litigation cases related to damage caused in 2005 by Hurricane Katrina.
Prior to CCS Group:
Winn was a project engineer with the St. Louis office of a national consulting firm that specialized in seismic analysis and strengthening solutions for the full spectrum of structure types. Over her five-year tenure, she analyzed a variety of institutional and purpose-built facilities for seismic progressive collapse and blast vulnerability. She also performed reverse engineering studies on historic structures. Additionally, she was responsible for quality control and peer training in sister offices across the U.S. Winn gained her professional start as an engineering intern with the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Winn is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction.
Winn is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in civil engineering. |
