Victoria Chemerys concentrates her practice in the area of ERISA, employee benefits and executive compensation. Her practice includes all matters related to both qualified and nonqualified plan compliance issues, including correction under the various governmental voluntary compliance programs of qualified plan document, operational, demographic, employer eligibility, and administrative errors, and breaches of fiduciary duty. Victoria's practice also includes matters related to executive compensation planning and compliance issues. She has extensive experience representing both private and public companies, including tax-exempt entities, with regard to their benefits and compensation issues, as well as advising governmental employers in such matters. Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Victoria was an associate with Holland & Knight LLP in Miami.
Victoria is admitted to practice law in Florida and in the District of Columbia. She is a member of the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association Tax Sections. She serves on the Employee Benefits Committee of the ABA's Tax Section and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jackson Memorial Foundation. Victoria is also listed in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
