Mr. Tang’s responsibilities include directing operations, finance, business development and strategic planning for the company. Mr. Tang brings more than 20 years of experience and leadership in software engineering, technical innovation and project management. His specialties are complex system analysis, design and integration.
Prior to founding Tietronix, Mr. Tang was a Senior Software Engineer with Wang Government Services. Mr. Tang is credited for identifying and developing several software tools to support and facilitate astronauts missions. The software developed under Mr. Tang leadership include a flight scheduling automation system, an astronaut activity scheduler and a robotics display on-board the space shuttle.
Mr. Tang spent more than twelve years as an engineer for IBM where he led a team that designed a reliability model for a cartridge tape drive for an IBM midrange computer. He also designed and developed self tests and diagnostic software for the image generator of an IBM laser printer. Mr. Tang has managed several large-scale technology development efforts including a document imaging system and business automation and re-engineering projects for industries as diverse as banking, natural gas and crude oil transportation.
Mr. Tang received his BS with a concentration in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Arizona State University in 1981. |
