As Vice President of Business Operations, Vic Clavelli is responsible for managing government and commercial contracts, procurement, program implementation, and the Paumalu, Hawaii and Atlanta, Georgia teleport operations of Intelsat General Corporation. Mr. Clavelli has more than 35 years of experience in the satellite industry, including 17 years at Comsat General prior to its acquisition by Intelsat. Most recently, he was Program Manager and Sales Director for Special Programs. His experience includes planning, design, implementation, acceptance testing, and operation responsibilities for complex satellite and terrestrial fiber networks worldwide. He has also served in senior operations and program management positions at Contel Federal Systems, Satellite Business Systems, and Northrop-Page Communication Engineers following several years at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center engaged in the construction of TT&C stations for NASA satellite and Apollo manned space flight programs. Mr. Clavelli has a BS in Civil / Mechanical Engineering from Catholic University of America and an MS in Structural Engineering Mechanics from Catholic University of America. He is certified by the Program Management Institute (PMI) as a Program Manager. |
