Victor A. Kaufman has been a director of IAC/InterActiveCorp (IAC) and its predecessors, since December 1996 and has been vice chairman of IAC since October 1999. Previously, Kaufman served in the Office of the Chairman and as chief financial officer of IAC. Prior to his time with IAC, he worked in various roles with Savoy Pictures Entertainment, Inc., including chairman, CEO, and director.
Kaufman was the founding chairman and CEO of Tri-Star Pictures, Inc., and served in this role from 1983 until 1987, at which time he became president and CEO of Tri-Star's successor company, Columbia Pictures Entertainment, Inc. He resigned from these positions at the end of 1989, following the acquisition of Columbia by Sony USA, Inc.
Kaufman currently serves as director and vice chairman of Expedia, Inc., in addition to continuing to serve in his current roles at IAC. |
