Victor A. Trigubko is Senior Vice President for Government Relations of Mechel OAO from August 2006. Since 2005 Mr. Trigubko has held the position of Vice President for Government Relations. In 2003-2005 Mr. Trigubko was Mechel OAO Vice President for Representation in Central and Eastern Europe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mechel Campia Turzii and Member of the Board of Directors of Mechel Targoviste. Working in this position, Mr. Trigubko achieved significant extension and strengthening of Mechel’s cooperation with the European partners and actively contributed to Mechel’s acquisition of new assets. In 2002-2003 Mr. Trigubko was Director of Mechel Trading AG Representative Office in Romania. In 1997-2002 Mr. Trigubko headed Izhstal OAO Representative Office in Moscow. In 1992-1997 Mr. Trigubko held executive positions with the metallurgical company, Unibros Steel Co. LTD, with his last position there being Deputy General Director. Mr. Trigubko graduated from the Kalinin (now Tver) State University, Economic Faculty, in 1982. Upon his graduation Mr. Trigubko worked in the Foreign Relations Department of the USSR State Committee for Labor and Social Issues and then in the USSR Trade Representation in Romania. |
