As the Firm’s Human Resources Manager, Vickie Manning is responsible for the development and effective implementation of personnel programs including the hiring process, benefit administration, training, evaluation, termination, grievances, salary administration and maintenance of personnel records. She also has direct supervisory responsibility for the legal support staff, working closely with Practice Area Leaders to determine staffing needs and to address issues. Ms. Manning joined Bowditch & Dewey in 2000. She has twenty years of human resources related experience in both the public and private sector law. Prior to joining the Firm she was the Director of Support Services for the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General and a member of the Attorney General’s Executive Committee. She attended Worcester State College where she majored in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial Relations, and is a certified mediator. She serves on the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board of the Salter School, and is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators. |
