Vicki Abernathy joined AlphaStaff in April of 2007, to lead the organization’s internal human resources staff and create new opportunities for employee development within the company. Her responsibilities include establishing best-in-class practices throughout the organization in regards to employee retention, workplace standards, compensation, performance management and much more. Prior to joining AlphaStaff, Vicki served as vice president and principle for Human Assets Associates of South Florida, an independent consulting practice concentrating on HR outsourcing for small businesses. During her career, she has held HR leadership positions with AWS Convergence Technologies, CityNet Telecommunications and the Marriott Corporation. She is an active member of SHRM, ASTD and the South Florida Organizational Development Network, serves on the Board of Directors for HUGS for Kids in Palm Beach County and is a frequent speaker and writer on HR topics. She received her B.A. from the University of Maryland and is certified in Employee Relations Law from the Institute for Applied Management & Law. |
