Vernon L. Patterson is executive vice president of Investor Relations for KeyCorp. He joined KeyCorp's investor relations department in 1994 and assumed his current role in 1997. He also served as director of sales support and client services for Key Asset Management.
Patterson began his banking career in 1982 in the commercial lending area at Michigan National Bank where he spent six years as a lending officer handling national shared credits. In 1988 he was named Director of Investor Relations and later assumed responsibility for treasury credit compliance strategic planning and correspondent banking.
He has served on the NASDAQ Regional Advisory Council and Bank Administration Institute. Patterson is a past president and board member of the Detroit NIRI Chapter and current board member of the Cleveland NIRI chapter. He also served on the board of directors of the Cleveland Society of Security Analysts. He earned his bachelor's degree in Economics from Graceland University and his M.B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University. |
