Mr. Vern Brunner has had an illustrious 38 year career with the Walgreens Company. Mr. Brunner most recently served in the capacity of Executive V.P. of Marketing with administrative responsibility for Walgreen's Purchasing / Merchandising, Advertising and Marketing Systems and Services Departments. Mr. Brunner was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Walgreen Company from April 1999 through his retirement in 2001. Mr. Brunner is now President of Brunner Marketing Solutions, specializing in pharmaceutical and consumer product marketing and distribution. Mr. Brunner's honors include induction into the "National Sales & Marketing Hall of Fame" in 1997 and being named "Marketer of the Decade" by the chain drugstore industry's suppliers in 1994. |
