Vera M. Craddock-Lee was born in Yorkshire, England, received her B.A., Honors, English Language and Literature, in 1965 from the University of London (Exhibitioner, Royal Holloway College) and her J.D. in 1985 from New York University School of Law. Vera joined Cummings & Lockwood in November 1998 as Counsel in the Private Clients Group. She has focused in estate planning, decedents' estates and trust administration since 1985, first with the law firm of Davis, Polk & Wardwell in New York City and later with Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts and Kelley Drye & Warren in Fairfield County. Following graduation, Vera organized and ran special courses for the University of London. After moving to New York, she edited books for young readers at Random House before deciding to go to law school. Vera is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut and is a member of the Stamford/Norwalk Regional, Connecticut and American Bar Associations. |
