Mr. Arquilla is based in Chicago and leads the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement and Healthcare Practices at The Claro Group. He has over 21 years of experience in serving clients in a variety of industries in both the public and private sector. He is a recognized and proven leader in Strategic Sourcing and Procurement as well as the Healthcare Industry. He has significant experience in assisting clients with strategy development, executive coaching, enterprise wide cost reduction, indirect and direct strategic sourcing, enterprise spend management, global sourcing, supplier relationship management and procurement strategy. He has helped his clients achieve significant cost reduction in a variety of cost areas such as human resources, finance and IT and he has led significant and successful sourcing efforts in several direct and indirect material and services cost areas. He has been the lead on teams that have helped realize over $2.1 billion in annual cost savings for their clients.

He is a recognized expert in Strategic Sourcing and has spoken extensively, been quoted and has made various media (television and radio) appearances on the topics of Strategic Sourcing and Healthcare Clinical Documentation.

Prior to founding The Claro Group, Venanzio was a Managing Director at BearingPoint and led the Global Strategic Sourcing and Procurement practice as well as the Healthcare Clinical Documentation Practice. Prior to BearingPoint, he was a Partner at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where he led the North American Strategic Sourcing Practice and the Healthcare Clinical Documentation Practice.

Venanzio holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois.
