Vaughan has a strong academic background represented by the attainment of Bachelors and Masters degrees in human sciences (BA Psychology and MPhil Hons Management Studies & Labour Relations). This led to a successful early career within the sales and training management fields. He subsequently focused on human resources management where he specialised in mergers and acquisitions, change management and executive leadership development within international corporates. Vaughan’s HR career culminated in the role of Human Resources Director for New Zealand’s largest consumer foods organisation.
