Vas Vasiliadis is a Principal in our Chicago office, with over 20 years of experience in operational and consulting roles, spanning strategy, marketing and technology. He is an experienced product marketing professional, with a passion for shaping emerging technologies to bring innovative products to market. Vas has nurtured early stage companies into successful businesses and consulted to clients around the world on a wide range of strategic issues. In his operational capacity, Vas served as vice president of product management and corporate strategy at CrossWorlds Software, the enterprise application integration pioneer, and was part of the executive team that grew CrossWorlds from a start-up to a successful public company that was subsequently acquired by IBM. More recently, Vas led marketing efforts at technology companies including Univa, Cimnet Systems and Promeria, where he helped define company vision and strategy, raise venture funding and develop products in areas as diverse as supplier relationship management and utility computing. Prior to joining Strategos, his consulting experience includes Booz|Allen|Hamilton, where he focused on supply chain strategy and customer service level optimization, and Andersen Consulting in South Africa, where he helped clients develop and implement operational and business strategies. Vas holds an MBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. He is fluent in English and Greek, and speaks conversational Afrikaans.
