Dr. Varad Srinivasan co-founded NetLogic Microsystems and is the principal designer of NetLogic Microsystems' product architectures. Prior to co-founding NetLogic Microsystems, Dr. Srinivasan was director of design at Quality Semiconductor. Before joining Quality in 1989, he designed the world's fastest bipolar PLD at Aspen Semiconductor. Before Aspen, Dr. Srinivasan was a design engineer at IDT, where he was a principal designer of the company's SRAMs, specialty and multi-port memories.
He also designed DRAM and SRAM products at Fairchild Semiconductor. He earned a master of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a doctorate in Electronics from North Carolina State. Dr. Srinivasan has also developed and patented several innovations in processor and network search engine technology. |
