As Director of Transport Networks, Daniel Vanevic is responsible for the application of TeleworX staff and tools to address a diverse range of customer network needs, including network optimization studies, evolution recommendations, and full network design. Prior to joining TeleworX in 2004, Daniel was the Technical Director of Sales and Marketing for the Caribbean and Central America division of Lucent Technologies. Daniel and his team positioned, designed and sold wireless, wireline, transmission, and data networks, integrating multiple product lines to provide best in class solutions. He also developed marketing and migration strategies for Next Generation (NGN) Networks, intelligent optical networks, and 3G cellular networks. Daniel has extensive experience in transmission systems engineering, specializing in systems interworking and Operations, Administration, Maintenance and Provisioning (OAM&P). He also served as Editor of the SONET Directory Services Standard and earned three patents in this field. In 1980, Daniel began his telecommunications career with Bell Laboratories, where he held various engineering positions throughout his tenure with the company. Daniel holds a BSEE from Rutgers University and an MSEE from Caltech. |
