Vanessa joined CapX in 2005 and is responsible for all financial functions of the firm. Before CapX, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Commerz Futures LLC, a Chicago-based broker-dealer and subsidiary of Commerzbank AG. She was responsible for the firm’s overall treasury management and financial reporting to offices in New York, London and Frankfurt. Before Commerz, Vanessa was a Senior Associate in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where she planned and supervised audit engagements for various broker-dealers and investment management clients throughout the Midwest. Additionally, Vanessa worked as an auditor for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Inc., where she focused on member firms’ financial and operational compliance with regulatory, capital and risk-based requirements. Vanessa earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Accountancy from DePaul University. |
