Valerie Nera specializes in policy on agricultural, resources and privacy issues for the California Chamber.
Priority issues include water supply and conveyance, agricultural land use and labor, balanced resource development policies for mining and timber, protection of private property rights, federal environmental laws, identity theft and high tech crimes.
Nera joined the CalChamber staff in 1978 as a legislative assistant on agricultural issues. She also has lobbied air and environmental issues for the Chamber.
She earned a B.A. with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. |
