Chef Val Hulleman has 30 years of foodservice experience beginning her career when she was barely 14 years old. Val spent many years as the Catering Director/Assistant Foodservice Director at Carrie Foods Limited, Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa. She then took a position as Foodservice Director at the Sioux Center Community Hospital to oversee all culinary aspects of the acute care, long term care, assisted living and catering needs. She has a wide range of education in Business and Professional Cooking and Foodservice Management from Penn State University and Purdue University. She is also certified as a CDM, CFPP with the Dietary Managers Association. Val’s background in different aspects of foodservice makes her a valuable resource to Harker’s® Distribution, Inc. and their customers. She also has her own business, Dinner Destinations, a Personal Chef/Catering Service. |
