Brikman is responsible for the overall management of software development for the complete line of lending automation products and for establishing software architecture and product development guidelines to provide the best quality products to clients. Brikman also participates in the strategic planning and management of daily operational activities at Metavante Lending Solutions.Brikman has more than 20 years of software development experience. Prior to joining Metavante Lending Solutions, Brikman spent eight years at Computer Sciences Corporation, Inc., a major system integration, outsourcing and consulting company headquartered in El Segundo, California. At CSC, Brikman most recently served as Chief Architect of Infrastructure & Strategic Planning responsible for the overall design and implementation of the massively distributed multi-tier production JCALS system. Joint Computer Aided Logistical Support system (JCALS) is a multi-service initiative to modernize DoD logistical infrastructure. The system provides transparent data access to technical manuals and other production data at 59 sites around the US, with eventual fielding to 160 sites and 30,000 people. Previously, Brikman was a Vice President of Research and Development and a co-founder of OCR Systems, Inc., the first company to develop a software-only Optical Character Recognition system. Brikman was responsible for the design and development of the Award Winning Character Recognition products of the ReadRight family as well as FormRight Networked Form Recognition System.Brikman holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer and Information Science from Temple University. |
