Uzoma Onyeije is Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for M2Z Networks where he is responsible for the formulation and execution of the company's legal and regulatory strategy in connection with its FCC application for Spectrum. Before he joined M2Z, Mr. Onyeije worked at the Federal Communications Commission, where he most recently served as the Broadband Legal Advisor to the Chief of the FCC's Wireless Telecommunications Bureau. In this capacity, Mr. Onyeije developed policies to promote broadband wireless deployment and advised the Bureau Chief, the FCC Chairman, and Commissioners on wide range of spectrum management issues. While at the FCC, Mr. Onyeije also held senior positions within the Wireline Competition Bureau's Competition Policy Division where he managed review of applications to provide in-region telephone service, as well as other initiatives designed to promote competition in the market for voice service. Prior to joining the FCC, Mr. Onyeije was an associate at the law firm of Mintz, Levin, Cohn Ferris, Glovsky, and Popeo, where he specialized in wireline, wireless, and satellite policy and transactions. Mr. Onyeije began his legal career as an associate in the telecommunications practice at Wiley, Rein & Fielding. Mr. Onyeije has previously served as an adjunct law professor at George Washington University. He received his J.D. cum laude from Howard University School of Law and his B.S. in Accounting from Oakwood College. |
