Dr Vasa is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, cytopathology, and blood banking. She received her medical degree from Medical College, M.S. University, India, and completed her residency training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center (affiliated with Rutgers University), Bellevue Hospital, and New York University Medical Center. Dr Vasa was a cytopathology fellow at the University of Illinois and a blood-banking fellow at American Red Cross Blood Services, Tristate Region, Chicago. She joined the UroCor Division of DIANON Systems in 1994 and has been practicing urologic pathology since that time. Dr Vasa is a member of the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and the International Academy of Cytology. |
