Dr. Adler received his medical degree from UMDNJ-NJ Medical School (Newark, NJ), where he completed a combined residency in internal medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
As a Kessler staff physiatrist, Dr. Adler works closely with his patients in several areas of physical rehabilitation, including the treatment of musculoskeletal injury, stroke, wound care, spasticity, and pain management.
Dr. Adler's major research interests include thromboembolic disease, stroke, and neurogenic bladder. He has co-authored several research articles including one published in the American Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with Dr. Robert Krotenberg, Senior Medical Officer/Medical Director, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation (West Orange, NJ) and Dr. Bruce Pomeranz, Associate Medical Director, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation (Saddle Brook, NJ).
He is an active member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists. |
