Uffe Bundgaard-Joergensen is an owner and Chairman of Brabo Ventures, which operates the Gate2Growth Initiative and manages the Gate2Growth Business Matching Service (InvestorNet). Through the Gate2Growth.com service center Investors and Entrepreneurs can access a complete range of services, resources, industry foresight and networking opportunities via a Europe-wide platform that allows the user to rapidly identify qualified partners and evaluate their offerings. Dr. Bundgaard-Joergensen was a Founder of Mermaid Venture Consulting (2000) which focuses on private company projects in Denmark and internationally. From 1988 to 1999, he served as the Managing Director of Danish Venture Finance, one of Denmark's oldest venture capital firms, and served and on the Boards of a number of the firm's investee companies in Denmark and in the United States. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the European Venture Capital Association (ECVA) from 1993 to 1997, and chaired its Early-Stage (now High-Tech) Committee. Dr. Bundgaard-Joergensen received his PhD in economics and operations research from the University of Copenhagen and Danish Technical University. |
