Troy joined Marquette Realty Capital (MRC) in April 2007 and has 14 years of real estate finance experience including 10 years of portfolio and asset management. He is responsible for originating, underwriting, and structuring real estate related debt and debt-like investments.
Prior to joining MRC, Troy served as senior portfolio manager of four publicly traded closed-end bond funds with equity capital of $675 million and total assets of approximately $950 million. These funds made direct investments in real estate through the acquisition of mortgage loans on all types of income producing properties and land held for future development. The loans were primarily short-term bridge loans and included first mortgages, subordinate B-Notes, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity investments.
Previously, Troy spent four years as an investment banker with Piper Jaffray Inc. focusing on the structuring and placement of tax-exempt revenue bonds. Troy is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics. |
