Experience
Mr. Crotts is a Board Certified civil attorney whose practice focuses on health care, general civil trial and insurance bad faith litigation. Mr. Crotts frequently defends clients in litigation involving physician and nursing medical negligence, automobile negligence, premises liability and general liability claims. Mr. Crotts also has experience representing health care providers before the Agency for Health Care Administration.

Mr. Crotts is a member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Pinellas Bar Association and the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys. He is also a member of the Federation of Insurance and Defense Counsel, the Society of Trial Advocacy and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Crotts served as Vice-Chair of the Healthcare Practice Section of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel from 2006-2007. From 1996-1997, he also served as co-coordinator and volunteer pro bono attorney for the Greater Access & Assistance Program administered through the Stetson University College of Law. Mr. Crotts is a frequent speaker and has been published on the topic of medical malpractice. He is Board Certified in civil trial practice and was selected in 2007 as one of the top ten lawyers nationwide by a national and international insurance carrier. Mr. Crotts has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America. He has also been named to Florida's "Legal Elite" by Florida Trend Magazine and has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine. Mr. Crotts has been awarded an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
