Trisha Tesmer is an associate in the Chicago office. She concentrates her practice in the areas of appellate law, employment law, professional negligence, product liability and corporate defense litigation.
While attending De Paul University College of Law, Ms. Tesmer was selected as a board member of the Moot Court Society, staff writer for the De Paul Law Review and was managing editor of "Notes and Comments" of the De Paul Business Law Journal.
Ms. Tesmer was distinguished with an outstanding brief award at the Vanderbilt National First Amendment Moot Court Appellate Competition and was also a semi-finalist in the Wechsler National First Amendment Moot Court Appellate Competition in Washington, D.C. She now continues to coach Appellate Teams and has written portions of competition problems for the Chicago Bar Association.
Ms. Tesmer also volunteered at the De Paul Disability Legal Clinic and was an Academic Integrity Representative to the Student Bar Association. She also clerked for the De Paul Phi Alpha Delta Chapter.
Ms. Tesmer has published a chapter for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE), entitled, "Proving and Disproving Damages," Supplement (2004).
Ms. Tesmer also has a published decision from the Illinois Appellate Court: Rogers v. Reagan, 823 N.E.2d 1016 (1st Dist. 2005).
