Trish Williford is the newest member of the KTBS-3 News Staff.
She joined our family in January of 2008, as anchor of the KPXJ - 9 p.m. News.
Trish began her news career as an associate producer at the Fox affiliate in Birmingham, AL. She also produced for several years at the ABC station in Birmingham, where she got her first start on-air as a reporter. Trish later moved on to the CBS station in Montgomery, AL, where she worked as a reporter/fill-in anchor.
A few of Trish's notable reporting assignments include the Corruption Trial of Former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman and the Child Sex Abuse Case of Jack Wiley and Glenna Marshall. That case later received national attention when it was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Trish graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with an English/Journalism degree.
Having lived in Alabama her whole life, she is excited about making Shreveport her new home! |
