Mr. Loy founded Flywheel Ventures in Silicon Valley in 1999 and established the firm‘s current headquarters in Santa Fe in 2000. During his career as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Trevor has led the growth of more than 20 technology ventures. His specific experience includes roles with ventures such as Brooktree (now, via acquisition, part of Conexant Systems); Gigabeat (backed by the venture firm Kleiner Perkins and now, via acquisition, part of Roxio); Intel Corporation (where he managed a team of designers working on portions of the Pentium and Pentium II microprocessors and won the Intel Quality Award for his innovations in the semiconductor manufacturing process); ParkingNet; Teradyne; and Visio (now, via acquisition, part of Microsoft). Mr. Loy holds an MS in Management Science and Engineering, an MS in Electrical Engineering, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. |
