Trevor Donelan is a Managing Director in the Boston office specializing in forensic accounting investigations and issues related to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Trevor is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner and has been providing financial consulting advice to clients for approximately eight years. He has been involved in a variety of investigations including matters involving the interpretation and application of GAAP and other fraudulent acts. Trevor has a broad range of investigative experience including revenue recognition, purchase accounting and reserve manipulation matters, misapplication of GAAP, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), accounting for stock options, insurance fraud, procurement fraud, embezzlement and other asset misappropriation cases. His experience includes working with companies in the technology, software, telecommunications, manufacturing and insurance industries. Trevor began his career auditing public and private companies in a variety of industries. Prior to joining StoneTurn, he provided forensic and dispute consulting services at a Big Four accounting firm. Trevor is also a part-time graduate lecturer at Northeastern University in Boston, where he has designed and delivered courses on investigative accounting and fraud examination. . |
