Trent Meteer is a Senior Vice President at Laux & Company. His career spans more than twenty five years with extensive experience working with middle market companies in both corporate and investment banking roles. His transaction experience includes mergers and acquisitions, senior and mezzanine financing, private placements of equity, term debt, revolving credit facilities, asset based loans, leasing, structured financing, real estate facilities and letters of credit. Trent's client experience include a broad array of manufacturing, distribution and services companies with concentrations in steel, chemicals, fabrication, plastics, and transportation businesses.
Prior to joining Laux & Company, Trent was a Senior Vice President and Team Leader with the Corporate Banking Group of First Merit Bank. Previously, Trent was a Senior Vice President in a variety of roles at Key Bank specializing in middle market corporate banking. He held senior middle market corporate banking positions with PNC and investment banking positions with Key Bank and McDonald Investments. Throughout his career, Trent has worked extensively with privately held middle market companies to structure and source capital, deliver financial services and advise in mergers and acquisitions.
Trent earned his B.S. in Finance and Economics from Miami University of Ohio where he graduated with honors. He also holds an MBA from the University of Toledo in finance
