Trent E. Taylor is executive vice president and chief information officer for Walgreen Co.
Taylor earned a B.S. in information science from Northeastern Illinois University in 1984. He joined Schaumburg, Ill.-based Motorola that year as a senior programmer/analyst. He also worked as a consultant with Ernst & Young in Chicago before joining Walgreens in 1992 as manager - Information Systems.
He was promoted to director of infrastructure and Architecture in 1995 and to divisional vice president and chief information officer in 1999. He was named corporate vice president/CIO in 2000, then promoted to senior vice president/CIO in 2002. He became executive vice president in 2005. |
