College Career:
Started 20 games in his two seasons with Hampton after transferring from the University of Miami (FL) prior to his junior year started all 12 games for the Pirates in his senior season and earned first team All-MEAC led the Pirates with five interceptions (2nd in MEAC) which he returned for a total of 65 yards while also recording six pass breakups was fourth in the MEAC in passes defended with 11 (6 breakups, 5 interceptions) appeared in nine games as a junior, starting the final eight at cornerback after transferring from the Miami (FL) prior to the season named First Team All-MEAC broke up 13 passes and intercepted one, with his 13 breakups ranked second most in the country in two years at the Miami, was credited with one tackle while appearing as a reserve defensive back in 2004, was a member of the Hurricanes Track & Field squad, competing in the 55 meter, 60 meter and 200 meter races during the indoor season and the 100 meter, 200 meter and 4x100 meter relay races during the outdoor season.

Full name Travarous Donnell Bain helped lead Northwestern High School to the state championship game with a 13-2 overall record his senior year was also an accomplished track & field athlete, named as a two-time Foot Locker All-America performer was a three-time Honor Roll student while in high school is the son of former University of Miami defensive back Tolbert Bain who played with the Hurricanes from 1984-87. |
