Mr. Toshiyasu Nagae is a senior consultant with Signium International’s Tokyo Office.

He began his career with 26 years experience at Nippon Unicar Co. Ltd., a joint venture of Union Carbide Corp. and has a successful track record in production, R&D, new business development & technology.

In 1994, Mr. Nagae moved to Union Carbide Japan K.K. as Director of Sales & Marketing. He has extensive experience in planning business strategies for a wide variety of petrochemicals and specialty chemicals. He gained extensive experience in business management as President and Representative Director of the company for five years.

In 2002, he entered the bioscience industry, as VP and Chief Compliance Officer of Amersham Biosciences K.K.

He is quite familiar with the global chemical and bioscience business, the management of a foreign company and a Joint Venture, including HR/general affairs, EHS/compliance, sales & marketing, process and application technologies at various industries.

Mr.Toshiyasu Nagae holds a BA and a MS degree in Applied Chemistry from Keio University in Tokyo. He is married with three daughters.
