Tony Todd has over 30 years experience in a variety of accounting, financial management and information technology roles. From 1973 to 1995, he was with Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and subsequently spent 10 years with several independent software companies, managing their internal operations and leading development projects for major clients. He spent two years in Australia, directing the development of a human resources system for Queensland Treasury Corporation and in the U.S., directed document management software development projects for Michelin and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He has been working with Kingery & Crouse since April of 2005.
Tony qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a local firm in the United Kingdom, before joining Price Waterhouse in London in 1973. In 1978, he was seconded on a two year tour-of-duty to the San Francisco office of the U.S. firm of Price Waterhouse. He remained with PW in the U.S. and served a variety of audit clients in the San Francisco office, including serving as the lead audit manager on the worldwide audit of Hewlett-Packard. For his performance on the Uniform CPA Examination, he received the American Institute of CPAs Elijah Watt Sells award With High Distinction and the California State Society of CPAs John F. Forbes Gold Medal.
From 1986 to 1989, Tony served as a partner in the Price Waterhouse National Office in New York, responsible for technical accounting leadership and providing advice on complex accounting issues, determining their positions on emerging accounting standards, authoring internal guidance material, and writing and speaking outside the firm on accounting issues. From 1989 to 1995, he served as an audit partner in the New York and San Francisco offices, serving a variety of clients, primarily in the investment management industry.
Since joining us, Tony's role has evolved from that of an auditor to being responsible for the following:
Providing updates to our staff on new accounting standards
Assisting our auditors, and clients, with resolving a variety of accounting issues, primarily related to derivative instrument accounting and stock based compensation.
Providing other high level consulting services as requested by our clients
