Tony Haddrell is a recognized industry expert in satellite-based navigation systems, with more than 25 years experience of systems and product development. Tony joined Polytechnic Marine, a predecessor company to GloNav, in 1990 as technical director and served as its general manager, managing director, senior vice president of engineering, CTO and independent expert consultant to the various instantiations of GloNav’s GPS baseband business. Before Polytechnic Marine, Tony worked at Marconi Marine as a technical manager, joining the company in 1986 after beginning his association with GPS in 1979 at Racal-Decca as a satellite systems manager. Tony’s early career was spent in radio navigation systems at Decca working on the Decca, Loran and Omega systems. Tony graduated from Imperial College, London with a degree in physics. |
