Tony specializes in the development and management of Information Technology firms in the federal, commercial and international domains. He is focused on building highly integrated management and business development teams to achieve rapid controlled growth. He is also a hands-on entrepreneur and enjoys direct management of the sales and program development activities. During the last ten years, Tony led the turnaround of two area IT firms and grew their annual revenues to $65M and $70M, respectively. His hands-on strategy produced in excess of $500M in federal and commercial revenues and secured numerous federal contracts including GWACs and BPAs. He also led the latter firm to a healthy diversification including adding Cisco Gold and IP Telephony certifications. Tony was previously employed at CDC, CSC and EDS. He started his career working on the development of CDC supercomputers in Minnesota. He traveled extensively for these firms and worked on international programs in Europe and Saudi Arabia in the banking, telecommunications, and government sectors. At Control Data, he worked in Maryland, Minnesota and England on the engineering of CDC Cyber computers including embedded microprocessors. Tony holds a Masters degree in Electronics Engineering & Computer Sciences from St. Joseph University and a Masters degree in Computer Sciences and Engineering Administration from George Washington University. He also enrolled in the MBA program, International Marketing at George Washington University and a PhD program in Computer Sciences at the University of Maryland. Tony is fluent in three languages and enjoys international travel, tennis, racquetball, swimming, skiing and sailing the Chesapeake Bay. |
