Anthony F.C. (Tony) Fox is deputy chairman, John B. Collins Associates (Bermuda), Ltd. He represents Collins in the dynamic Bermuda reinsurance marketplace, and is also co-leader of Collins' retrocessional reinsurance practice.
Professional Background
Mr. Fox joined Collins in 2002 and established the company's Bermuda operation.
Mr. Fox's reinsurance career began in 1972. Before joining Collins, he was chairman and chief executive of Bradstock Group Plc., a publicly traded Lloyd's broker.
He managed the European offices of E. W. Blanch Company from 1982 through 1989, and was a partner at Blanch.
Throughout his career he has placed all types and classes of property and casualty reinsurance, including workers' compensation.
Mr. Fox is an active and visible leader of the Bermuda reinsurance marketplace. He has served for three years as chairman of the reinsurance committee of the Bermuda Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Association (BIRBA), which includes all 29 brokerage firms in Bermuda.
