Tony was born in Beirut, Lebanon. It was during visits to Europe while growing up that he found his strong interest in buildings. When it came time to study architecture Tony moved to Paris, France to attend the University des Beaux Arts. During his first job out of school, at Pierre Vigneon Architects in Paris, he found his true calling as a manager rather than a designer.
His next move was to the larger construction company Societe Auxilliare d'Entreprise as a Project Manager, from which the line to idGroup is straight.
SAE bought the American company Carlson and in 1988 Tony made the decision to move across the Atlantic to be the Design Project Manager in their Natick, Massachusetts office of Carlson. He worked on high profile projects such as the JFK Federal Building in Boston and the Union Leader Printing Facility, in Manchester, New Hampshire. When Carlson became independent from SAE in 1992, Tony remained with Carlson and in 2000 he became General Manager of the Boston Offices, overseeing nearly 100 million dollars in annual revenue and a staff of 150. Tony is one of the four founding principals of idGroup and serves as the Director of Operations and of Human Resources.
