Tony, a Director of JMFA of Houston since 1979, joined the firm as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer in December 2003. His broad, international background in management and finance, leadership skills and analytical acumen were a valuable asset to JMFA as it was poised on the brink of explosive growth. Prior to his appointment, he was Managing Director and CEO of Caltex Australia. He headed the only petroleum refining and marketing firm listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and was responsible to more than 30,000 Australian shareholders. He also was elected Chairman of the Board of the Australian Petroleum Institute From 1995 to 2000, he was CEO of Texaco Brazil. He was responsible for Texaco Inc.`s petroleum businesses in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay. The Joaquin, TX native graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics. He joined Texaco Inc. in 1966, holding a variety of accounting positions before being appointed CFO of Texaco Ltd. in London, England (1991-1994). |
