Toni Diprizio is an audit senior manager with Blackman Kallick's not-for-profit practice group. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, she began her career in public accounting and immediately served on not-for-profit audit engagements. In 1998, Toni joined Blackman Kallick and continued to develop a specialization in the not-for-profit industry. She is now responsible for managing several of the firm's not-for-profit engagements. Because Toni is aware of the resource limitations of many not-for-profits, she views the audit process as an opportunity to help clients improve their overall operations. As a result, Toni has frequently provided audit clients with recommendations for improving and strengthening their internal controls. In addition, she has advised clients on potential new procedures and controls to further safeguard their assets and improve their efficiency. Toni is the Treasurer of the Emerald City Theatre Company and a board member of the Eleanor Foundation. She has contributed her not-for-profit accounting expertise to these organizations by assisting with the implementation of new accounting software, providing accounting staff training and working with the finance committee to develop accounting policies and an investment policy statement. |
