Tomas Pleskac took his degree from the Faculty of Business and Economics (management of agriculture) at the University of Agriculture in Brno; he finished his studies in 1989. Further, he completed a course on Exchange operations organized by the Stock Exchange preparatory committee, a one month course in nuclear-power plant management in Japan and an internationally accredited studies at Prague International Business School where he earned MBA degree.
He joined CEZ after short work experience in Komercni banka, a.s. (experience in small and middle enterprise loaning, development project reviews, corporate financing). During his nine-year work at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant, he held the position of a Deputy Director for Economy and Trade from the very beginning. For four months starting from January 2003, he worked for a new section CEZ Distribuce preparing the integration of CEZ and regional energy companies. From 2003, he worked for Severomoravska energetika within CEZ Group, as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Financial Director. From May 2004, he managed CEZ Group´s integration project VIZE 2008 from the position of the director of the integration section. |
