Mr. Tom Zhang was the Co-founder, Director, and Executive Vice President of Vimicro International Corporation (Nasdaq: VIMC ), a leading fabless semiconductor company in China founded in 1999. Mr. Zhang also served as the Secretary General of Mobile Multimedia Technology Alliance (MMTA) in China, Director of the Microsoft-Vimicro Multimedia Technology Center, and the Director of the Tsinghua-Vimicro Semiconductor Research Center. In July 2006, Mr. Zhang established Innofidei Inc. and now serves as the chairman and CEO. Mr. Zhang received a B.S. degree from the University of Science & Technology of China, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
