Tom Stokes is the Valdez Marine Terminal Manager for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company with responsibility for the day-to-day safe operations and maintenance of the 1,000 acre marine terminal. The VMT Terminal activities include measurement and movement of the crude oil inventory, power generation, vapor control systems for the fixed roof storage tanks, marine tanker vapor recovery facilities, processing of marine tanker ballast water, and facilities of loading crude oil onto tankers.
Since joining Alyeska in 1991, Tom has served in a variety of roles including: financial advisor, compliance supervisor, support manager, operations advisor, and Power Vapor/Oil Movements & Storage Manager.
Tom has an undergraduate degree in business from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Dakota.
Tom and his wife Jenny have a combined family of four sons and one daughter. Tom has served on several community boards including the Valdez Chamber of Commerce and the Prince William Sound Community College. |
