Tom has more than 15 years of sales management experience at established and startup technology companies. As Managing Director of Sales at GeoTrust from 2001-2006, he led the channel sales lines and was instrumental in recruiting not only the largest ISPs and hosting companies as resellers, but also more than 9,000 smaller to mid-size hosting companies. While at GeoTrust, Tom helped grow channel sales revenues by nearly 700 percent, accounting for nearly one-third of all GeoTrust’s sales revenue. He also served as interim Vice President of Sales in 2005 and played a key role in GeoTrust's acquisition by VeriSign in September 2006. Following the acquisition, Tom was a Director of Global Accounts for VeriSign and managed and oversaw all channel sales and strategy for the GeoTrust brand. Prior to GeoTrust, he held several senior sales positions at EMC Corporation. Tom holds a B.S. in business and communications from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. |
