With over 35 years of corporate, entrepreneurial and consulting experience, Mr. O'Malley has fostered, developed and nurtured a wide network of professional, trade, and interpersonal relationships in Europe, Asia and the NAFTA countries. Acting in diverse roles in corporate, private, public, and community based sectors; his primary skills as a pioneer, entrepreneur, and multi-cultural deal architect have uncovered and shaped new opportunities around the globe. In his duties as business owner, board member, officer, developer, and consultant; Mr. O'Malley has applied the knowledge, benefits and insights of many years of top-level experience to a diverse career. After USAF military service and a degree from Cornell University, he served at corporations such as Xerox, Burger King, and Beverly Enterprises in the US; Four Seasons Hotels Canada; and Grupo Latham, SRL and World Property Marketing, SAdeCV in Mexico. Concurrently, he contributed to community organizations in cities including Rochestor, NY, Toronto, Canada, Miami, Fla., and Los Angeles, Ca. These varied duties have provided him with an essential understanding and the number of tools he applies to the broad scope of international business, corporate management tasks, investor relationships, real estate industry sales and a wide array of entrepreneurial challenges. After working in the corporate world, Mr. O'Malley established O'Malley International, Inc., offering international business management acculturation and foreign trade services to Pacific Rim countries such as Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan. OMI clients included healthy lifestyle, computer hardware, fashion design, culinary arts, manufactured products and others. His firm operated without regard to type of business, only that it engaged in the production and sale of goods and services. During this same period he incorporated and directed a human resources products, services and consulting practice for small and medium sized businesses. Years earlier, Mr. O'Malley had witnessed the development and growth of the Internet and computer based industry product and services. He began to focus on real estate marketing and sales in particular and worked as a consultant, employee and independent contractor to many of the startups and emerging "dot.coms" in this field. Obtaining his California license and Realtor status, he directed his attention to the application of computer technology to this well-established institution operating within an Internet environment. He also began a professional affiliation with real estate brokerages, ultimately deciding to market his diverse skills and experience within the framework of R.E.M. International, serving a diverse mix of clients in achieving profitability in international real estate and general business operations. Transitioning to general business management, Mr. O'Malley focuses on building strategic partnerships among worldwide companies, associations and governments. He functions as a multi-cultural business catalyst and agent negotiating with major investors, funding sources, foreign banks, international real estate developers and builders and has developed an ongoing network of professional relationships and commercial alliances as well as local state and federal government connections. Mr. O'Malley is currently involved in securing business venture capital, international real estate transactions, motion picture production and financing, developing Joint Venture partnerships between China and U.S. companies and in consulting to foreign business and government clients in marketing and sales activities in the U.S. He most recently served as Managing Director, Janas Associates, an M & A, corporate financing and management consulting firm. |
