Tom Newell is a Managing Director at Cascadia Capital focused on sourcing and executing M&A and financing transactions for retail and consumer-oriented companies. Prior to joining Cascadia, Newell served as CEO of ODS Software, an enterprise software company that was successfully acquired by an international software supplier. Before ODS, Newell was president of The Shorewood Group, a business consultancy focused on meeting the growth and financing needs of private companies. Newell began his career as an investment banker with Piper Jaffray. After leaving Piper, he founded and sold an e-commerce company in Dallas. Newell, who was honored as one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s top 40 business leaders under the age of 40 for 2005, holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. |
