Tom Murphy is a former sales executive with the Sprint Corporation. Tom spent twenty-one years with Sprint in a variety of management positions, culminating with his last position as Vice-President of Consumer Sales and Sales Operations. He began his career with United Telecom in the Financial Analysis area and quickly moved into the Sales and Marketing arena where he became known for his turnaround capabilities. His ability to re-tool poor performing areas, taking on challenging sales objectives in the process, was constantly recognized by his Sprint colleagues as well as the industry and has provided him with a blue print for success for large and diverse sales organizations.
Tom’s expertise bridges call center management to National Account selling, including retail sales operations. He also understands affinity programs, having successfully managed Sprint’s National Sales Programs for several years. He utilizes a range of proven axioms and management techniques to establish a blue print for success, not only short term, but evident for the long term. |
