Tom Mumford is Senior Vice President, Business Development Oversight. Mumford was appointed to this position in September, 2006. He is responsible for the approval process on all major new project activities and manages the Company’s corporate development and strategic planning functions.
Previously, Mumford served as Senior Vice President, Business Development for SUEZ Energy North America, where he had responsibility for wholesale power acquisition, divestiture and development efforts, as well as LNG program efforts, plus investment management and portfolio rationalization.
His career has included senior positions in the marine, nuclear power, oil & gas and conventional power industries, covering projects in the Middle East, the Far East and Central & South America as well as domestic markets.
Having graduated from Stow College of Engineering, Mumford completed his studies at Glasgow College of Technology to become registered as a Chartered Engineer. Mumford maintains membership of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Institute of Marine Engineers in the U.K., and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in the U.S. |
