Tom Marble initially worked at Sun as Chief Technologist for emerging customers in the USA before joining the Java Performance Group. He next served as the technical lead for the Operating System Distributor License for Java (DLJ) project. In February of 2007, he assumed his current role as OpenJDK Ambassador where he facilitates the growth of the OpenJDK Community in an effort to promote Java technology ubiquity, compatibility, adoption and innovation.
